I went to Pondo yesterday and launched at noon until 6:30pm. caught 22 bass. No bass were over 3 lbs but were hitting at the grass and submerged weeds.
Thanks Mazonia Bassman, they were hitting a hula grub (pumkinseed) with worm weight up against the reeds. i had a monster crappie follow up all the way to the boat also. looked every bit of 16 or 17 inches.
Ahhhh...as I reported there are a ton of the green carp in pondo, never saw so many.... maybe commercial netting is the key management factor there.
You guys don't think the DNR would have dumped in there on purpose with the rivers so close???
