Thank you Marty you did a quality paint job on the Smallie Replica, and the habitat & others have commented so on phone pics when they asked me to share. Well done. Thank you. I left it at the office on my desk for my co workers to see today.
I'll take some pics and post them when I get the chance.

Peter I have always done a skin mount but never a replica. The work looks outstanding but maybe its me but it does not look like a 6lb plus smallie. No disrespect to you or Marty as his work looks outstanding. Don't know what kind of scale was used or tape measure or if cocktails were involved lol. Would like to hear what others think. Does this look like a 6lb plus smallie???

That's not my fish Andy.

Its Marty's mold option and interpretation of my 22.5" 6lb 4oz small mouth.

This is my Sturgeon Bay Bronzeback, "The Brute" and photo Marty worked off...

So my question to you peter is do you think it looks like a 6.4 oz fish and would you do a replica ever again?

This is no reflection to Marty's costumer service or work completed on this paint job. I would recommend Marty's Taxi.

Correct. Based on my personal experience, I would never suggest a replica to anyone. As I mentioned above, its not my fish.

NO matter the species, If you want to mount a fish just keep the fish caught and do a skin mount which depicts the actual fish size and girth weight etc or don't do one. By far it doesn't compare to the pride and feeling I have on my other two skin mounts of the Walleye and Musky. Not to mention the costs of the mount blank which is added to the price.

Replicas are just that, a replica someone else fabricated in a mold for couple hundred and even though you have the good feeling of saying you released the fish to fight another day. It does not overcome the feeling you have of the replica versus your actual fish mounted. It's just not the same guys.

No substitute to the wisdom of experience.

It's a real nice paint job. Part of the problem with smallie mounts, that I've noticed, is the quick transition from a dark side to a white belly. It takes away from the appearance of girth depending on what angle the mount is viewed at.
