Default Vexilar batteries $10 ea

After keeping a few for myself I have five of these available.

They are the same dimensions as standard Vexilar batteries. They are used and are from uninterruptable power supply units for PC modems I believe. I charged them all up, put a meter on them several days later and all read between 13.5 and 15+ volts so they are holding a charge nicely. I hated to put the wear and tear on my locator, but I further tested each one by having it run my Vexilar for an 8 hour straight test. After 8 hours, my Vexilar's battery charge LED stayed in the 100% (complete charge) range so the batteries should be fine.

Specs

$10 each, price firm, pickup only in Streamwood, no warrantees as they are used, but all tested by me. Please, not a ton of PM questions. If I sell all 5 and get $50 this was hardly worth my time. Just trying to be helpful to anyone who needs some replacements or spares. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one person to take all of them.

Thanks GH!

Well, 3 sold, but I also got 3 more so I still have 5 available once again.

Thank you Ron, I picked mine up today and all of them were charged and holding a charge! I went home the way we talked about only 44 miles and almost all highway miles less than 1 hour. GH

If I go that way, I'll need one of those batteries, I think....

Those rope lights suck the life out of this type of batteries, or at least the one's that I have do. I had 3--3 foot long rope lights in my shanty and it did not seem worth all the trouble. Now I have small 1 mantel coleman that I use not only to see with but also gives off heat too.

I've got the rope lights and an incandescent spot light controlled by toggle switches. But I'm doing the same and using the 1 mantel colman for my main light and heat. I also have a AA 3 led above me which is good to click on to tie a jig on in front of your face in the dark.
