What size motor? And where is your trim at when you're hitting 4 at idle? I know with my boat, if I'm trimmed out some from when I run the boat WOT, then I can't get it under about 2.5mph at idle with a 70HP. But then if I trim her in all the way as far as she goes, it drives the bow into the water a bit and I can consistently keep it wherever I want it in the 1.25 - 2mph range just by adjusting the trim slightly.

I'm sure you already thought about this, but just a suggestion in case you haven't.

It's a 225 ProXS Trimmed down it's 3.5-3.9, and I don't normally run in idle with it trimmed way out because it doesn't maneuver well.

Continue to drive down lsd everyday and everyday the lake looks gray as gray can look as far out as you can see. What a bummer. Hopefully it can clean up some as I am planning on hitting it this weekend. That's enough already. What a slow start this year due to conditions.

Yup. The heavy rains for a week screwed everything up,

****, that sucks. Guess you gotta get a kicker. Or use the Terrova.

Seen some blue water today albeit kinda far out. Shoreline still looks crappy. Sunday may be the ticket.

Going to try to give it a shot on Sunday morning weather or I should say winds permitting. Been a while. Weekends have put a major hamper on boat fishing especially small boaters like me.

Good luck out there. Looks like the wind forecast changed from ENE to NW 6mph
