Nice flathead, love to see that!!!

Funny, you get a big flathead and if you're in the boat they will just keep you at the bottom. Straight down over the side of the boat for minutes. You get a big channel cat and they usually swim around a lot more. Flatheads just dog you and make you really work for it!

Been doing a lot of gill fishing with the kiddos. Might have to do an overnight flat cat trip this weekend.

Was surprised how much better the river looked up above Motown opposed to below the Iroquois over the weekend. Must have gotten more rain down south.

The gauge is at the same level as it was a week ago up in Motown with a little spike earlier in the week. Hard to believe it didn't come up more.
