Struggled to say the least. Pond hopped 3 pits at Mazonia South Mon. 6 dinks at the first pit, 1 dink (nothing over 12") at the second pit, and the old 'elskunko' at the last. The pits are CLEAR (not much ice this winter, hardly any rain this spring so far). Got a soaking from a brief cloudburst. As the sun started to break through the clouds in the afternoon, saw 3 bass up on a hump. A female about 3.5#? and 2 smaller buck bass. They're thinking about it! We are about 3 weeks ahead this spring. My Bradford Pear trees in the front yard are BLOOMING not budding!
