Tube fished in the N Unit today from around noon till 5:00 PM. Spent most of the time throwing a tiny jig for bluegills and crappies. Caught 7 nice crappies from 11” to 13”. No gills but a ton of nice green sunfish from 6” to 10”. All the panfish were caught on a tiny jig with a chartreuse Berkley Power Nymph. Also managed 7 bass. Most were 12” – 13”. Did get one nice one at 20”. Bass were all caught on a plain jig with a black/blue Kreature Bait.
The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the best of everything they have.
