Fished Saturday Jan 7 from 11:30 til 2:15. Ten minutes in, my buddy Ron nails a 13-1/2" 1.5 lb beast of a river perch. We got 3 more over 10-1/2.Just a 2 minute walk from DuSable fisherman parking. The sweet part of a good perch day (compared to NP) was a 5-7 brown that took my slip bobber for a run with a 6" perch in his mouth. Attempting a delayed hookset, I pulled it out of his outh and he followed me all he way to the wall - then he took it again , swallowed it and bit off my line (3# on my o\ultralight). After re-tying, the brown followed gain on a 7" perch, took it and bit me off again.
