Was wondering if anyone knows if Miliken Lake was open, was trying to make the long trip out with the family.. But don't want to head out that way if its closed up, if anyone has any info I can use I would appreciate it. Thanks.

you might want to wait a week or two miliken used to be one of the lakes they stock with trout if it still is then they will have it closed this week so the fish can acclamate then reopen at dawn on saturday with thunderous applause from all the bucket heads who will crowd in from lake to lake and cast over each other and on some occasions even fight over spots to catch a farm raised fish that doesent take much skill to harvest best bet would be give it a week after the 8th and there should be plenty of room for the family to have a good time
You are correct, Mr Freeze. It is closed until trout season. drove past it today. And I was in the area a year or two ago when it opened for trout season and the whole bank was lined with fisherman shoulder to shoulder.... ridiculous! So I usually avoid it this time of year!
