lake michigamme u.p. mi info

Hi,
Im heading up to lake michigamme at the end of July and was wondering if anyone has any info on the lake?? I've Never been there and want to get into some fish with my son. Going to be there a week so I have time to explore but would like to get some info so im not going there blind.

The best i can do is go through my old fishing mags and they have the lake map and fishing info and spots. Let me know.

Only thing i can suggest is there is a site called www.fishweb.com and if you go under picture photo reports he has a detailed report on his trip to this lake. Its a few years old but at least it gives up some info

Now we're getting somewhere, thanks guys! I've never had so much trouble finding
A report on a lake before. Theres always someone in a resort or a guide that has some info,
Especially for the size of this lake.

Go to Lake Link visit the Mich forum all the info you need. Also just came home from Gogebic last week and had a rotten trip its may fly time up north.

my cousin fished liver lake which is right next to michigame lake he caufgt smallies and pike.i think fishing hotspots has a map for purchase.
