Montrose 7/25 PM (Pics)

Got lines in at about 6:45 in 62 FOW E of the T-Post. <1' waves but some pretty big swells and the current was incredibly strong. Had a difficult time keeping a good speed in any direction but East. Once we hit 87 FOW we started making a turn to the North and then Westerly. On the first attempt of the turn the #3 dipsy w/ a watermelon cut plug (tuna) took a hit but came unbuttoned before we could see him. Again, we try to turn NW and the same rod goes off after just putting it back out. This time, a 7.5# steelie makes it on board. Each time we had a fish on, we'd end up going more NE. Tried to take a NW turn again, and the full core off the outside walleye board with a Double White Crush mag spoon brought in a 10.6# king. The last hit came at about 8:40 when, again, we turned towards shore. The 150' copper line w/ a Moonshine Smitty mag spoon hooked up with a nice 7# coho. Fished till 9:30 and did our best to slow the boat down since the inside rods took hits on the turns, but no other action.

Ended 3/4 - the king and the coho hit about 15 min after sunset. The steelie came about 15 min before sunset. 87' to 93' were where we had hits. Speed was all over the place depending on direction. Hits came when we went from about 3.4 to 2.6 turning from E to N to W.

1/2 - #3 dipsy, glow opti-flasher, watermelon cut plug (tuna) out 120' on the counter
1/1 - full core off walleye board, mag glow double white crush (aka: Eddie Mac, i believe)
1/1 - 150' copper off walleye board, mag moonshine glow Smitty

Sorry for the crappy pics - it was dark ;)
