I'm ready for cold weather to get here, but I'm more excited about the various hunting seasons than ice fishing. (although my buddy did just secure us permission the other day to fish a private pond that is apparently loaded with gills the size of dinner plates!! )
This summer has sucked the big one. I've fished maybe only 25% of what I did last summer. But it's too dang hot. No fun when you're still sweating at 9:30 just standing in the dark!
Yea i hear that Yak Man. I'm like Pete Brady, all summer been in my pool although Pete aka Heff has always had women in his pool, in mine they are all men

Oh yeah. Arctic armor suits are great. I have one and only that'd why my wife lets me go ice fishing. I hope this winter will be much much colder than the last one.

But you did sell me your Marcum and don't forget it!!!!!!! I hope it going to be a long cold butt winter, I have all my transportation lined up and running for all situations: I got the 3 wheeler, the Killer Quad and the Snow mobile so I am ready to go !!!!!!!!!! Thinking about taking my cousin who lives up on Mill Lacs on his offer to come up and stay for a week during the Ice season, He pulled some nice Eyes, Perch and Crappies thru the Ice and also has access to a 50acre private lake with an over abundance of "Geneva Size" Knotheads that have over run the Largemouth. 107 dayz til I get to fish again !!!!!!

Yeah but Chuck it's the abience of Capt. Gacy's cuddy cabin that makes a moonlight evening cruise on his yacht more palatable and the endless story's told of rumnut rich and his adventures!
