Fishing ranged from good to excellent over the weekend. Saturday morning was slow for most. There was a good drift early and we managed to boat 20 fish on harnesses. Once the wind died about 11:00, things got real tough. We went to trolling and only managed to boat 4 more fish ending the trip with 24 nice eyes. The afternoon trip offered much better trollilng. We started trolling around 4:30 and by 7:30, we had our 36 fish limit. Sunday was more of the same great trollilng. We had our 42 fish limit by 11:00. Monday we had a good drift, but my guys wanted to troll. It was tough controlling the boat due to the strong sw winds. We managed to boat 25 fish before callilng it quits. All fish trolling came on spoons behind either jet 40's or dipseys. All in all, a good weekend of fishing with some really nice fish put in the cooler.
