"State wildlife officers have killed seven coyotes. An eighth was killed by a sharpshooter hired by Greenwood Village, in Denver's southern suburbs."

I think Nikster should take note- he might have found himself a new profession.

What I meant to say, albeit I did not say it very well, is that when yotes travel in packs and you shoot one of them, there lies the possibility that the others will learn to fear people from that experience. That may be total bs, but I think conditioning them is a possibility. The same lies true about feeding them or being careless about garage doors, pets, garbage, etc.

You find a woman wearing that, you'd better be ready for a wild time. She might be wearing a deer head, you know, give you the horn.

Maybe we can train coyotes to pick up trash in local Chicago neighborhoods. Or they can be used as seeing eye coyotes. Or maybe they can be used to serve latte coffees in starbucks downtown. Nah, just whack em n stack em.

Aside from the 5 yotes I saw lying dead on the side of the road on my way through the plains and mountains to Oregon I couldn't help but laugh at the papers on billboards advertising locals to kill yotes.I'm thinking any yote killer is living in the wrong state.

That makes it so very CLEAR! Take all the studies you want, compile data, facts & other tree hugging stats., people don't know the specific problems yotes cause in any given area. A GENERAL view of any area is different from another.
I'm only SORRY to say that i'm NOT doing my part, to much crap is going on in my life for me to make any significant impact this year. Could'nt make any trips to Wisconsin this year, local farmers welcome us with OPEN ARMS up thar across the cheddar curtain. We even have one that lets us stay in his carriage house just because we, :)41 & break bread with his family. One hand wash's the other sorta say. I took him & his son out on the big pond last Spring & have a Carte Blanch relationship with them. ;)

I believe Yotes should be shot and killed when trespassing because they can harm our kids or animals. I would definatly gun one down if it ever came near my house.

It all depends on the way one mounts the quarry.

SCRATCHIE or SCRATCHER ;)
