Looks like some of those fish are jammed tight with eggs.

Never understood the thinking of the DNR. Close the season when fish are done spawning but keep it open when they are full of eggs and too often being killed when pulled up from deep water.

Not bashing anyone that catches those perch, but I just don't understand the logic of it all.

Might have more to do with the city of Chicago and fishermen at the lakefront than the fish itself.
Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

Another option can be not to allow fisherman to use flies and shrimp to catch Perch :)28 That should keep the numbers down. H.O.M.D.

Martin,

I could not agree with you more. I would like to see these April egg perchers all locked up on ethics charges. But that's them. Then there's me. If'n I had the way to get out there, I'd be the first one in line to catch them tasty perch before any one else could sink their teeth into them.

BGMH is that http://twitter.com/BieberGetsMeHot
I don't want to be confused.
For A.O.G.L.M. You know what I'm saying. 8:)

I don't think the perch are in too much danger since they stopped the netting. Also there is no stoppage in Indiana on perch if I read the IN DNR correcly. Plus this weather has slowed the fair weather fiends so banner 2015-18 coming soon. I.M.H.O.

Great Job PB. I wish I could get out there too. But would have been like those 2 guys sinking 2 Sundays ago. :)28
I caught one too and it was a big one
