So, as I arrived at Montrose harbor at exactly 4:23 am . I parked 2 feet past the the 1st yellow fire hydrant on the east side of the street. I walked 30 feet south then due east towards the water. As I got to the water I set up 14 steps beyond the 2nd clump of rocks below the water surface. I pulled out my advanced copy of The lake michigan guide to shore perch fishing and put on my " I fished the Bigsaw way t-shirt" and proceeded to catch copius quantities of perch!
Every other angler around me struggled as I pulled jumbo after jumbo of glorious perch from below the depths of the big pond.
