Well Big Fish Ross and Myself arrived at Little Bay De Noc early Sunday morning 10/30/2011. After getting settle in we decided to hit the lake for a few hours. The guys next door to us had 8 eyes from saturday night they were cleaning they had one arround 8 lbs so we were excited. We started out to our regular spots and trolled arround with no success. So we decided to get some sleep and try agian in the early morning. Monday we got up early hit the water hard started out casting the shallows thanks to the guys next door info but we did not get anything so we decided to hit the deep water trolling reef runners and deep diving cranks we had all the water collums covered. Agian we come up with nothing. So went backed in and will get up agian and try Tuesday Morning. Well tuesday came and went without a sign of fish we didnt even mark fish with trolling half the lake and tueday night we couldnt get out due to the winds. Wendsday wasnt looking to good either with heavy rains perdicted. Wendsday came morning looked good we got rained on a little bit but not bad still fishless we decided to go perching we did mannage to scratch a few small perch. Wend night came and we hit the shallows hard and agian came home fishless. We werent the only ones struggling even the guys next door werent gettting fish. Well thursday came with another early morning casting the shallows with no fish so we decided to live bait so we went in to get biggeer minnows and decided to drift the reefs.Luckily we talked to some guys from illinois that had the same luck we were having they decided to get a charter they said they got 8 fish one 11lbs at late night. So we drifted the reefs trolled the reefs with crawler harnesess and i only managed to cath a small perch feeling this was my only chance at a fish pic we snaped a pic and let the little feller So we decided to go in and eat some grub and fish the night hard. Well we trolled the reefs before dark and not even a strike we decided to change to Husky jerks and rip sticks and troll the shallows. WELL THATS WHEN PAY DIRT HIT 11lb Norton Aafter that Big Fish Ross puts the first eye in the boat. were pumped up a little while later i put anice eye in the boat and we wound up getting one more eye and a small norton that stuck the lure into my brand new Bibs .Heres some picks of the eyes Even if we were to go fishless had another good time with Capt Jim and were booked for another year. Maybe have to try some ice fishing up there
