Southend LM Coho's 4 man limits (pics)

Today was family day being the kids were off of school and the Coho's and Browns have been pretty active for the past few weeks. After breaking skim ice at the launch lines were set by by 7am. Didn't take long to find the fish and start filling the livewell of death (no room for the cooler).



Trolled about 4 hrs and caught well over 40 fish as many of the Browns were to big for my liking so they were tossed. Kept our 20 fish and called it a day and what a beutiful day it was! Forecast doesn't look to good for the next 4 or 5 days...oh well, get'em while you can!


Today it was all about the kids and getting them out of the trailer!
Few more trips and I'm done. Not in the mood for combat fishing! Adios....

Thanks for the donation of you catch, all my neighbors came scrambling out of their trailers once they heard the electric fillet knife humming. They were amazed at the fine catch and offered up their home schooled children for future trips if needed. As I was leaving for work this am I saw Suzy Pang making a large pot of fish head soup with sizzling rice for todays lunch, Suzy says your #1 in her book.

Ahhh your welcome Chucky! I am always trying to help other families in need and since my consumption of Salmon is limited I am always willing to donate to a needy cause....Getting my gear and boat ready now and heading back out on our quest for a 5 man limit today. Full boat....Sucks you have a job to go to, living off of the state and accepting food donations is just fine with me!
