Vulcan Lakes/Three Oaks Rec Area

Postby Marabou » Wed May 23, 2012 3:41 pm

The brute Smallies are going now, here are some pigs from the last few outings.  Two of which are 20"+ fish in the 5# range.  All caught on 3" Black plastic craws on a spot remover or Biffle Head Jig. The Rock Bass was at least 2#, and I got into some Crappie off a deep boulder that were giants.  I had one come off at the boat that was all of 18".

Is "basstiality" the same as sleeping with the fishes?

Nice work. Im surprised I havent run into you out there this year yet.
My son got a new St. Croix/Shimano rig this spring, and keeps getting skunked with it.
I think we'll be able to hit it hard this weekend, see how the warm weather effects things.
See ya!
