Jon, I live in Bartlet and I do Know the stream you are talking about. The bad news is Ihaven't fished it. I drive past it about a 8 times a day. But I do see a few people fish it now and again. I've been meaning too fish it off of Struckman which has some areas of access. I'm teaching my 6 year old. I started at Beaver Pond on Stearns. They he could catch some bluegill. I practice my casting by casting at paper plates. the neighbors look at me funny but thats OK. Though I have never fished it before I would give it a shot there are some small riffs cutbacks and undercut banks pools runs every thing you need to teach your wife. I started fishing the Fox river last year caught my share of Small Mouth Bass if you find one they put up a very good fight. Well good luck maybe you will see me with my six year old straem sde who knows.
