the pike is great if the flow is up and fish are running(it can be blocked at the mouth by a sandbar)...it can be tough otherwise(the root too, for that matter)...directions? man, i can hardly find my keys half the time...the access i know its on cty.rd. "a" and part of it next to a golf course(so is the root). check out the steelheadsite.com and get a county map or ask there for directions...good luck and post a report- i can't get up there soon due to a 7/8ths dead fishing car, and "they" say fish are starting to show up...maybe tryen will know more...
