i don't think the pike will do you much good without substansual rain/runoff even though it is partialy spring fed, but ya never know. first of all i would look down the posts for "rich" or try the fishinfatman (his b board), download his map. contact him, he gives freely of advise even though he's a guide. then ya gotta access the usgs and figure out the root flow rates, and like jay said check out the steelheadsite posts and archives. then cross your fingers and eyes and hope. i always bring along a stick of dynamite just in case, but, find it impossible to light as much as i fall down...i'm tryen( the spring run is very near)
