Sounds like fun. No rising fish for us this weekend. That would have been nice. It was so bitterly cold that I swear there are parts of my hands and feet that I still can't feel. But it was worth it.
Mt. Vernon is a nice stream. I fished it once with some success. How was the water temp? Sounds like people are catching fish on Black Earth. That's a good sign.
