Bass have completed their annual spawning ritual and are past their post-spawn blues. Very active, regular topwater bite towards evening on weedless lures over slopweed in shallow water, especially in open pockets near bluegill spawning colonies. Also, bass bugs working very well, even during the day but fish the deeper pockets during the day.

Gills are easy as pie - just fly fish w/ small poppers around the beds or use a small fly with a casting bobber or ice fly - you'll catch a ton! Take out the kids for some of this non-stop gill action!

crappies - I haven't fished for these much nor have I caught any lately, but I have seen small schools surface feeding on the yoy in open water on some local ponds.

Good luck!
