Sorry about the partial message.
I fish at Blackwell quite a bit. I usually go to the back parking lot and walk the east shore (towards the island). There is a weed bed that shadows the shore about 12-15 feet out. Usually use small (2 1/2 - 4") plastic worms on a worm harness or small mepps or rooster tails. The key with the worms is to move them SLOW. The bass in this lake don't get huge given the pressure, but they are there.
