Spent some time out at Busse yesterday evening during and after the rains. Fishing in the rain was slow, only 1 carp took a minnow I had going under a slip float.
After the rain I switched spots and used the slip float presentation near some tall grass. 2 small lmouth bass around 8 and 10 inches. Tied on a perch colored shad rap and caught one more bass -12 inches. I got soaking wet but it was worth it.
