saganaske bass and cats

i've been catching lots of white or yellow bass
everytime i go there,what's the deal?there small,but alot of fun to catch while watching
your other pole on the bottom waiting for a big cat,or God knows what to strike.my girlfriend caught a 1 pound cat on sonny's stink bait
there last week.the bottom action has been steady and i have to admit i'm impressed.
i've heard saganaske is only 5 feet deep.
i would appreciate any information on the depths,and what live bait seems to be successful there.
