I caught a hammer handle (small pike) there on a rat'l n rap that I had to chuck to the middle of the north bowl and let sink to work near the bottom. If you believe the guy at Stringers bait shop, a couple years ago somebody caught a 36" pike near the pipe that connects the two bowls.
