How the hell can they check for licenses as people exit the facilities in their cars? I didn't know it was a requirement to have to fish just because you want to take in the view of beautiful Maple Lake.
: And I thought I was the only one that noticed. Several weeks ago while doing some fishing with my son at Maple lake, I saw a group of trailer park trash doing some casual fishing and heavy beer drinking. Most of those empty bottles ended up in the lake or in the wooded area behind them. There was also a group of rowdy idiots throwing all kinds of debris in the lake disrupting our's and others fishing. In the meantime, I was clearly watching as those damn "Tree Cops" across the lake harrassed a group of kids just hangin out by the 95th street lot. Furthermore, as I pulled out just before sunset, they pulled ever all of the exiting anglers for the purpose of checking our licenses. Go figure!!!!
: : My buddy got a parking ticket at Sag Quarries for staying too late(apparrantly
: : cops have different definition of sunset). The same guy that hauls huge loads of trash out! It would be nice if the cops could hand out some tickets for littering. But I guess that would require actually getting out of the car and actually walking. Personally I don't think it would hurt this lard ass.
