: Oz,

: Did you ever fish the McDonald's Lodge corporate facility just north of 31st and Jorie in Oakbrook? It's open to the public, and there are two lakes. The lake on the east side has better shore access. It has limestone all the way around and is quite scenic.

: I've fished it numerous times. I used to work there. They originally stocked it with LM bass, muskie, black crappie. Lots of carp and gills got in because it connects underneath Jorie Blvd. to a network of ponds in some communities. I've caught some big carp (and goldfish too) out of there on white bread. I heard of a guy who was dough-ball carpin' there that cast in and his dough-ball and it got nailed on the drop. BOOM! -- a six pound muskie. My buddy and I were night fishin' for carp in the summer and he cast in his bread and a 14" bass inhaled it. I know there are some real pigs in there. I'll bet you could find some 10+ carp easily.

: Good Fishing.

: Eric S.
