: : Looking for info on any good Carp ponds in the Chicagoland area. So far the clubs I am in have "discovered" Barth Pond and Lake Arlington. Does anyone know of any ponds in their area that hold Carp and have a good amount of shore line access?

: : Thanks in advance

Try DuPage Forest Preserve park called Churchill Woods. DuPage river runs through it. There are some HUGE fish there. Most people use Wheaties,honey,etc.. balls. The last fish I saw caught there was stuffed in a 5 gal bucket. Only about 1/3 of the fish was actually in the bucket it was so big.
Churchill is on Cresent Blvd in Glen Ellyn on the boarder of Lombard. About 1/2 mile west of Finley road.
Map attached.
