: They way i've been killing them lately on a Buzzbait, I just might leave it on all winter and drag it across the ice just to watch the Bass smack their heads.

Last fall's issue of In-Fisherman (Sept,Oct.,Nov, 1998) had a great article on buzzbaits for fall bass. The quote below is worth the price of the issue. Here it is at no charge to you. But, caution, don't read it if you do not think water temperature is important.

"The flats become the focus for bass activity, making spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and rattling baits excellent choices. This seasonal shift typically occurs as waters cool from the low 60 deg. F range into the low 50s. We consider 50 deg. F about the bottom end of the buzzbait window. But that gradual decrease in water temperature may occur over a month in most areas, opening a window of opportunity for the best buzzbait bite of the season." p. 29

In-Fisherman had it first!
