We've been seesawing back and forth on this for some time. Yes, I think your post about "Useless Bass Reports" was bullshit. A lot of anglers have consistently posted their successes AND failures on this board to benefit others, and just plain share some experiences. Sometimes there's not as much information as some would like, but you can always draw some kind of conclusion.
All of the sudden you appear out of nowhere and make a pretty bold statement. To say that our reports are useless because they don’t specifically state the water temperature is wrong, and I don’t take too kindly to that, thus, my defense.
I don’t doubt that the water temperature is important, and it plays a big role in catching fish, but I don’t have your perspective on it. To me, if it’s fall, the water temp is going to get colder, enough said.
What I would like to read, since you have so thoroughly established how important water temperature is, are the techniques you use to counter their effects on fish. Simply stating over and over how important water temp is does nothing to help me. I’d like to learn something new. How about some fishing reports on your success/failures this fall?
