North lake was very cold,windy and overcast. South Lake was just the opposite.
I had been jigging a plastic worm around the dock on the north side, left it on the fishing pier, and next thing the rod is skidding across the dock and went airborne. My friend Jeremy, who actually can be quite quick sometimes in a clumsy way, grabbed the pole, reeled it up, and the plastic worm, sinker, and hook had been BITTEN off. Hmmm...sounds like one of the northerns in the lake to me.
