I fished a golf course pond from 5 until 5:45 today. I usually catch largemouth between 8" and 12" on shallow running cranbaits at this pond. I tried a few different approaches today and had better results.
2 10" on floating silver/black rapala
1 15" (biggest I've seen at this pond) on 1/4 ounce chartreuse spinner
1 13.5", 1 13" on jig/twister
In the past, I thought rapalas would work best at this pond since the visiblity there is excellent.
