Fox River cats at night

I used to nightfish for Flathead and Channel Cats along the Fox River several
years ago. I've gotten to where I have more free-time to go back to it but,my
favorite spot in St.Charles Has become "Ferson Creek Park" Which closes at
night.Can anyone tell me where it's permitted to fish at night in the Elgin to
Batavia area and what bait is hot? I'm dying to catch more big cats.
