Fished the pond located behind Chicago Ridge Mall to practice catching small gills. They sure didn't dissapoint as it was gills, gills, and more gills. Managed to also catch a either: A. yellow bass, B. White Bass or C. Striper and 1 Crappie. The biggest fish of all species was the Bass, and that was only 4'' long LOL All were caught on spikes using a size 16 hook and a float. Was using my 20' whip rod and my 8' bamboo pole.
I was the only one out fishing. Yes, the fish were small, but the action was hot!
