Fished Maple on Labor Day from a boat from about 15:00 - 18:00 hours. I caught a lot of small gills, one perch and two channel cats. My fishing partner caught twenty cats, and several small gills. Most of my gills were caught on waxies, and the cats, perch and other gills on pieces of nightcrawler. Why my buddy caught twenty cats to my two from the same boat I have no idea. All fish caught in ten feet of water with weeds underneath.
