: : Has anyone had any luck Fishing at the lake at 167th between Harlem & 76th Ave. In tinley park.

: Mac,
: I've had limited success at Centennial in Tinley, mostly smaller bass (nothing bigger than a lb or 2)taken on plastics, though I know some of the Old-Timers out there do very well with the crappie, & the catfish.
: And of course there are a few guys who manage to pull a few of those "snake" Norherns out on a fairly regular basis. You may want to try the "Other" Centennial park,The one in Orland. (157th just west of La Grange Rd) We took some real nice bass there this past summer. Plastic grums work good here, scented is better. ( they really like garlic flavor on this lake)

I read in the Southtown that they plan on putting some time & money into this lake, stocking it, and perhaps building a boardwalk around the lake and also a small boat launch and marina. Is there any truth to this that you know of?
