: : Which part of Mayslake do you fish. The bigger lake off of the parking lot or the smaller lake near the monestary? I have fished both lakes and seem to do better on the big lake for bass.
: Dan,
: I mostly fish the big lake, I've tried the other with no success.
: Buzz and chug/pop-r baits have been producing me bass.
: I like the northwest side, lots of overhanging bushes.
: Most of my fish are caught less than 10 feet from shore.
: Long casts work the best, slow and erratic.

Rob,
Sounds like we fish pretty much the same area on the lake. Most of my bigger fish have been caught fishing near the willow tree. Have you had any luck with Northerns on this lake? I hear they are there but I have not really tried for them.
