If this lake is north of Schaumburg Rd. and between Bartlett and Barrington roads, it is a man made lake created maybe 15 or so years ago. As a kid I grew up in Streamwood when all that land was farms. I'd think it was created more for storm water run off than anything else. Moved out of there quite some time ago, but still pass through regularly. Haven't heard of anyone fishing there, but who knows?
