No fish report, cuz skunked again!
It seemed like it would be a good day for walleyes. Cloudy,windy and very little fishing pressure around.Not a bite in 4 hours at a few different spots around the lake. I even brought minnows this time.
All ice is off the lake, and water levels are up around springtime levels. Shoreline rocks that the fish hide in during high water were completely submerged and I thought for sure I'd pick up something out of there using a float and jig setup. Nope!
The water is pretty murky so I used primarily chartruese,pink,white and orange jigs with minnows hooked several different ways. I also tried the typical slow drag and drop methods without success. Maybe the camera that I'm finally remembering to bring out there with me is jinxing my luck. Ed, can I borrow your red jacket?? ;-)
