I've never fished it, just walked around it. I've seen blue-gills, carp, and at the time, black masses of baby bullheads swarming around. I'm not sure if there are any largemouth, but I'll bet there are.
It sucks to hear about McDonald's. I'll bet not much C&R was practiced. It's a pretty place to fish. I kept one crappie out of there that totally swallowed a Rapala. It was bleeding like crazy. Fried it up that evening. Needless to say, it was a pretty big crappie. Probably went 16".
I used to work at that McD campus while on summer vacation from college, I fished there all the time.
