Found that 13"-18" bass hitting small roaches on a sklip bobber and 1/16" black or chartruse jig about 18-24" deep on local ponds, action was fast. Had 4 fish in 20 minutes. Then switched to worms and had very fast action with same set up for both 7-10" bluegill and some bass.
Hoping to get Ice soon, to get out to the deep holes in these pond.
Try this on any local pond and see if it works.
