OZ,
Went to Tampier at lunch time today.
Nothing.. Only 2 other groups on the ice by the boat house.
Good to get out for the fist time,
get the equipment working.
I saw your picture in the Outdoor Notebook,
good size fish..

: I didn't even know there was access from 135'th street. Tampier is usually poor for ice fishing, but you may want to try by the dam. You can try the will-cook road entrance and can access the dam area along with the deeper bay. I believe most people fish on the north side of 131'st is because there are plenty of weeds and first ice + green weeds => good fishing *NOT*. IMHO the better(southern) ice fishing lakes are Sag Quarries(East) & Maple Lake. They should both be open to ice fishing.
