Gills biting very light. If you didn't have light line and your hook wasn't covered, you weren't catching a thing. Lots of guys.

Always glad to hear good fishign reports :0) So far I am 0 for 99 LOL Did you ever fish Songbird Slough? The club I'm in has a match there on 02/28 and was wondering what kind of species etc are caught thru the ice(if it still exists then??). I fished in a few DuPage county lakes during the Ice fishing Tips & Tricks they use to run. Alas, never much luck at them, and I can't remember the lakes. The Tips & Tricks has been cancled due to poor ice conditions in previous years.
