Fished the south lagoons yesterday late afternoon/evening. Picked up two nice bass 15.5 and 16" fishing the outside edges and pockets of the thick weeds near a deep water current area.The setup that was working for me yesterday was a chartreuse green jig/leech under a float.
Also had another typical Northern bite-off while fishing the same rig near a downed tree. No luck on topwaters,spinnerbaits or rapalas near dark. Lots of fishing pressure out there these days,get there early.
