They are Vegetarians, try some pieces of green apple, or mullberrys. Here's one I got from McKinley Park a few years ago. Got it on ( of all thinks) a black twistertail jig on 4 lb test line, took about an hour to hawl him in,and landed him without a net. I made $250 in the Pepsi Classic for biggest carp from a Chicago Park Dist. lagoon for that month.
