Fished a quarry in Lemont today from about 11:00 - 16:00 hours. Just a few small gills till 14:30 and then about a dozen more until I left at 16:00. Fish were caught just off the bottom in 10' of water using jigs loaded with spikes. Ice was still good as 4 - 6'' all over the quarry. With rain on the way it looks bad for the rest of the ice fishing season.
