: : : I heard about the pond from this board. I tried it Mon. 6/26 from 7-8:30pm. I caught seven bass and the largest one was 1.8 lbs. I was using a Super Fluke around the weeds and lilly pads. Some guy said he has caught a 3.5 pounder from this pound.

: : : One more thing, dress appropriately, I found a tic on my sock.

: : I fish there often and have caught more bass than I can count. Most between 10-18." I also have caught number crappie, one measuring between 18-19", that I released of course. There are also some big carp on the southeast section of the lake along the lily pads. My girlfriend caught a sunfish there on corn that was 7" long and very beefy. The northshore are where the bigger bass seem to be, along the rocks. I like fishing there, but it's starting to get heavy weekend pressure, and it shows by all of the fishing line and garbage being left behind, so try to take some with you when you go. The south shore is getting especially junky. The winds swirl a lot there, but I have caught fish in all types of weather there, even in that driving rainstorm last weekend, I caught 6 bass in 2 hours on small jigs tipped with crappie minnows.

: Where is Flyer's Park located, please?

This is a pond across from the parking lot at the Schaumburg Flyers Baseball Stadium. It is also the parking lot for the train station. It is located just south of Irving Park Road where the Elgin / Ohare expressway exits ont Irving Park Road.
